The path to increased retention and graduation rates at Community Colleges has been studied extensively and the key findings point to; access to affordable campus housing, holistic student support including easy access to educational resources, social engagement, nutrition, and emotional wellbeing.
Several educational institutions in California are blazing a trail to address this through partnerships called Intersegmental Housing. This panel will bring together experts from Community Colleges, UC campuses, and the teams delivering these projects to discuss how shared student housing projects will dramatically change the landscape of higher education.
